MURI Integrated Vision and Sensing for Human Sensory Augmentation correspondence, materials, reports, 1995, 1997
Scope and Contents
The Vision and image understanding series constitutes one of the largest series in the collection. Within it are eight sub-series: Research proposals, research meetings, project reports, Kanade publications, presentation and publication materials, reference materials, correspondence, and financials. The materials in the research proposals sub-series cover different project proposals and are sorted chronologically.
The research meetings sub-series includes meeting notes from different research groups and projects. Those materials are sorted alphabetically by topic, as are those in the Project reports sub-series. A selection of Dr. Kanade’s publications on vision and image understanding topics are in the Kanade publications sub-series, including some on virtual environments and VLSI sensors, among others. In the next sub-series, researchers can find graphics and overhead transparencies used for publications and presentations as well as technical drawings. The reference materials in the following series are sorted alphabetically; some of the publications here are in Japanese with no translation. The correspondence sub-series is sorted alphabetically by topic and includes discussion of projects and proposals. The financials sub-series contains six folders of project budgets and expenditures.
